The custom fabrication capabilities at our manufacturing plant run by state-of-the-art CNC (computer numerical control) machining, which means your stainless steel building parts fit together perfectly. Combined with precision laser cutting, that’s why Worldwide Steel building kits are so simple to put together yourself – because our precision steel fabrication services mean no guesswork. From trusses to sheet metal to building accessories, everything fits together perfectly.
Worldwide Steel Buildings provides custom metal fabrication services for our steel building kits, garage kits, barndominium kits, and more, as well as a variety of structural steel parts and accessories, including:
Bar Joist: Open web bar joists are steel joists designed to handle loads and span conditions that a tradition wood joists can’t accommodate. Steel bar joists are excellent for framing floors and roofs and offer many advantages when compared to a wood truss or steel beam.
I-Beams: Our metal fabricators produce I-Beams in a variety of sizes and load capacities. Made from steel, the iconic shape that resembles a capital I, I-Beams can be used for support trusses, framework, and more.
Trusses: Worldwide Steel Buildings can manufacture trusses for your next building project. A truss is a structure made up of three or more members, with each member designed to carry a tension or compression force. Our manufacturing services include trusses built to your specifications and can be built for wind or snow load.
Tracks: These U-shaped channel runners are often used as top and bottom tracks to secure wall studs or end supports for floor joist framing. The Worldwide Steel Buildings metalworking team can fabricate steel tracks for your next building project.
Girts: Worldwide Steel Buildings’ metalworking team makes its own girts at their manufacturing facility in Missouri. Girts, horizontal structural members that are attached to sidewall or end wall columns to support paneling, can be custom designed and built via our metal fabrication processes.
Purlins: Purlins are horizontal structural members that support roof covering and carry loads to the primary framing members. Purlins can be fabricated by Worldwide Steel Buildings at their plant in Missouri.
End Columns: Also known as end wall columns, end columns are a vertical member located at the end wall of a building that supports the girts. They, of course, can be fabricated to spec by Worldwide Steel Buildings.
Wind Bracing: Worldwide Steel Buildings designs and fabricates their steel building kits to sustain wind and snow loads for your area, so they fabricate wind bracing specific for your needs. These rods, angles, or cables are used in the plane of the roof and walls to transfer loads, such as wind, to the foundation.
No matter which metal products your next building project calls for, our team of metal fabricators and welders (experienced in both MIG and TIG) can likely fabricate it for you at our Missouri facility. With more than 35 years experience as a metal fabrication company and designer of carbon steel and metal building kits, Worldwide Steel Buildings has the expertise to help you with your next fabrication project.
