Louver Vents for Metal Buildings
Any time you design and construct a new building, no matter its purpose, proper ventilation is one of the most important considerations. When you’re thinking about ventilation to your new metal building, you have many options. From ridge vents and other types of roof vents (like cupolas) to full HVAC systems, Worldwide Steel Buildings offers a variety of airflow systems to meet your needs.
One of the most popular options is adjustable louvers. Louvers sit in metal wall panels and consist of metal blades that can be angled up and down to adjust how much light and air they let into and out of a metal building. Most people choose louvers as part of their ventilation system because they are attractive, inexpensive, and versatile. When adjustable louvers are open all the way (at a 90 degree angle from the wall panel), they let in quite a lot of light and air flow, improving air quality throughout the building. When closed, Worldwide Steel louver blades provide full overlap, keeping water, sunlight, debris and gusts of wind out of the building. In between, they are fully adjustable to your preferred air intake.
Because Worldwide Steel louvers are all steel construction, and pre-painted white at our manufacturing plant, they are not prone to rust, rot or corrosion. Each louver we produce also comes standard with a ½” hardware cloth screen, mounted at the factory, to act as a bird screen and further protection against windblown debris. Our louvers are also flush on the back side, so you can place them at any location on your building without a framed opening. This allows you, with the help of our experts, to determine the best placement for cross-ventilation without interfering with any of your building’s other functional or design elements.
